I approach therapy with the understanding that YOU are the author of your life story, and together we’ll explore those things holding you back from living your best life.
I trust you are coming in with your own experiences and a willingness to explore new processes, and we will develop an individualized, strength-based plan to address and help you move through those barriers holding you back.
I trust you are doing the best you can and will support you in developing insights that may be uncomfortable at first but can lead to a greater and deeper understanding of yourself and ultimately lead to a freer fuller life. I work primarily with individuals experiencing trauma, grief, relational dissatisfaction and/or mood disorders (depression, anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, and PTSD) to support healing, growth, and wholeness. I have specific training in EMDR, DBT and Gestalt modalities. In addition, I am currently completing EMDR certification.
The therapeutic trust and relationship between a client and therapist is a key component in the therapeutic process. Because of this, I offer a free 15-minute phone consult before our initial appointment so you can get a feel for how I work and what online therapy with me may look like. In the event we begin to work together and find you would prefer to work with someone else, I am happy to provide 3 referrals for your continued care. Ultimately, I know your healing is our shared goal.
